Google’s Backup and Sync desktop app is now available for download. Available for both Mac and Windows, this app is designed, keeping in head the usability and flexibility.
First, it was the iCloud where a user can upload their important documents and store it forever but, the constraint in it is that the free storage capacity allows only 5GB free memory.
With the advancement of technology, Google has also hyped up providing a free storage up to whopping 15GB. Starting from 100GB storage at USD1.99, 1 TB at USD9.99, there is an availability of 10TB+ storage with a minimal cost of USD99.99. The user is allowed to purchase more storage if they require.
Initiating from small files to larger documents including graphics and video files, if one wants to secure his files and keep it away from any malfunctions, Google is undeniably trustworthy. The latest Backup & Sync app adds more room to store all documents, almost the entire PCs content preventing it from crashes.
At times, unfortunate accidents often occur and loss of documents lead to disastrous results such as files deletion, virus infections, volatile memory and so on. The app seems to catch a lot of eyes and make it to the headlines with its promising line “Just choose the folders you want to back up, and we’ll take care of the rest.”
Moreover, Business users of G Suite are recommended to keep using Google Drive until a business-focused solution called Drive File Stream goes live later this year.
With the cloud-based backup on the rise, both the consumers and organizations, major tech companies including Google, Microsoft and Amazon are building their solid grounds and pacing up to extrude the competition, especially among enterprises.
