300 university students and young entrepreneurs are selected to be trained and oriented with basic intellectual property issues at a daylong Boot Camp, to be held on April 25 at the Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka. An initiative of Bangladesh IP Forum (BIPF), the Volunteer for Intellectual Property Boot Camp is in its 4th consecutive year, says a press release.
In line with the World IP Day celebration, the event aims to reflect on the socio-economic significance of IPR, which is comprised of multiple learning and speaking sessions. Participants will also be groomed to act as an ambassador for IP within their communities. Professionals and industry leaders have been invited to deliver speeches and take care of the learning sessions.

Her Excellence Leoni Cuelenaere, Honorable Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Bangladesh will inaugurate the Boot Camp. Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar, Program Director, Access to Information (A2I) Program, Prime Minister’s Office will be giving away certificates to the participants.
