IT’S SIMPLY CLAY_TASTIC!

In the middle of the hustling and bustling city of Dhaka, there lies a place in Banani where you can leave all your stress behind and let your imagination flow in serenity. Clay Station is an art studio where you can walk in and be transported to a tranquil atmosphere and participate in creating your own piece of art. Sounds too good to be true? Luckily the world has blessed us with something of the sort and I can surely say that Dhakaites will be ever so thankful to finally find something to do, rather than spending their days in restaurants, malls, roaming around Hatirjheel or just sit around TSC in this miserable summer heat.

What Clay Station helps you do is, it lets you create art from your own perspective whether you are the next aspiring artist or someone who wants to try something new. Clay Station offers a range of services to young ones and adults alike, it involves immersing oneself in color or make an (accidental) masterpiece formed out of clay. All from your own imagination and maybe even a little help from their professional ceramist to guide you, in case you have none. Of course, you can take your finished work home, with additional services for post processing your work, especially the ones made out of clay.

“Hands on real clay with an exciting variety of making...One the most enjoyable time my daughter has spend...Thank you Sharmin and Clay Station team for taking such creative initiative probably for the first time in Bangladesh.” said the father of a little girl, S Mahmud Sagir who recently visited Clay Station. Clay Station Customer, Mubashshira Noor expressed her experience saying, “Most wonderful and refreshing way to spend time in Dhaka. My perfect kind of relaxation.”

Now for the most important question - how much will this cost me? The answer is, not a lot, as you don’t have to pay for attending sessions, you only pay for your materials and that should be a good enough reason to go if you’re still not convinced.

To the silent artists of this unyielding city and to the dejected souls who long for a vessel of creativity, in this fast-tracked city life of Dhaka, please pay a visit to Clay Station for a break from all the archaic chaos.
