Nimuno Loops is the name of what is basically a LEGO tape. Although we relate to LEGO being such a big part of our childhood, it is still just as popular amongst all age groups from walks of life, a reason why the age range appears 4-99 on the boxes.
The concept of Nimuno Loops is very simple and might make you wonder why you have not thought of it yourself. Well, the Loop is basically a roll of double sided tape with one of the sides having the flexible toy block pattern which is compatible with LEGOs or any other toy blocks. This gets us to create our very own blocky masterpieces which were only limited to floors previously.
The creative geniuses behind this ‘revolutionary’ idea is Anine Kirsten and Max Basler. Although they have not spilled the beans on what materials have been used to give the blocks such flexibility so much so, that you can even cut it with a pair of scissors. The adhesive can stick to anything whether it is your desk, shoes, walls, or even skin. However, it is only obvious to point out that the tape will only be able to hold a limited amount of weight, if it is taped on walls or ceiling.
An irony remains that, while the official LEGO company has come up with ingenious ways to take over so many franchises, movies and games to cash in on their success, how could this brilliant yet simple idea not cross their minds for once!
Although these new tapes are still backed by Indiegogo fundraising, parents all over the world are pre-ordering them in lots. And we bet, it just won’t be the children who would be playing with these new sticky rolls.
