THE APP THAT HELPS TO GET CHEAP SHIPPING

The new Roadie app now can make your life a lot easier by helping you transport your stuff anywhere. Whether it is across town or on the opposite side of the country, cheap shipping is just a download away. Roadie bags and ships everything at the most convenient way, be it your pet, wardrobe, a piece of furniture, or even your ex’s old things!

The app connects the users to people who can transport their stuff. "We match up people who have stuff to send with people headed in that direction," said the Head of Field Marketing, Valerie Metzker. Similar to how the Uber works, anyone can register as a sender, or become a driver if they have a car and want to make some extra cash. If you are a buyer wanting to receive the goods instantly or the seller who needs a safe and cost efficient way to send the goods, Roadie app is the answer.

The app is very user friendly and simple to use. The user will download the app (available on both iOS and Android) and register either via email address or Facebook. After creating a user profile, users can choose to either "Become a Roadie" and enter their license details, or "Become a Sender" and link their PayPal or credit card. On the other hand, to send something, the user simply needs to post the item, get an estimated price, choose a willing driver, and track the stuff you're sending.

The ease of access and fast transport is not only giving the buyers and sellers their convenience but is also helping small businesses keep up with big chain shops by being accessible to their customers, as long as there is a driver willing to accept the task. "We've got florists, we've got bakeries," said Metzker. And these businesses now have access to a fleet of couriers as well.

"Roadie allows 50 different drivers to make 50 different deliveries for you and increase your capacity. There's a billion square feet of unused cargo space in people's vehicles and if we can take a fraction of that space and put it to use its taking trucks off the road," adds the Head of Field Marketing.
However, if Roadie is not for you, no need for tears. There are other apps who provide similar services such as Dolly or Grabr, being the top two of such sites.
