Google Car Crash

According to some online report- Google’s self-driving car had an accident, recently. It is considered to be the worst accident till date, for the giant enterprise. Yes those self-driving cars don’t have the cleanest records. But still, it left a little dent on the company’s reputation.

Having that said, records show that human drivers are still a bigger threat than those hi-tech self-driven cars. Speaking of the accident Google’s autonomous Lexus was struck at red light by a commercial van, while crossing the Mountain View intersection. Well, things could have been worse but luckily no one was injured.

So far, Google is yet to make a detailed statement but they did make a vague one.-
"A Google vehicle was traveling northbound on Phyllis Ave. in Mountain View when a car heading westbound on El Camino Real ran a red light and collided with the right side of our vehicle. Our light was green for at least six seconds before our car entered the intersection. Thousands of crashes happen everyday on U.S. roads, and red-light running is the leading cause of urban crashes in the U.S. Human error plays a role in 94% of these crashes, which is why we're developing fully self-driving technology to make our roads safer."
