Students planning to study abroad with minimum 6 points in IELTS tests taken with British Council Bangladesh between April and December 1, 2016 can apply for scholarships.
The British Council has launched “British Council IELTS Scholarships 2016” to help more people get access to international education experience, says a press release.
Five top scorers among the applicants, who are to attend undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at foreign educational institutions that accept IELTS, will be awarded a scholarship of TK3 lakh each.
The payments will be made to the attending educational institutions in order to assist the students financially.
A hard copy of completed application form along with a writing task and TRF (IELTS Test Report Form) must be submitted to the British Council offices in Dhaka, Chittagong or Sylhet by December 1, 2016, for the scholarship.
All shortlisted applicants will be notified by email on December 5, 2016.
