Artcell is back with their 3rd album

Artcell, one of the country’s leading rock bands, is bringing their titled album ‘Artcell’ in the music scene on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. To bring the album to the market, they made an agreement with Grameenphone company and G-Series recently at the launching programme held at Grameenphone office, Basundhara R/A in the capital.

This will be their first album in 10 years and one song from the new album “Otritiyo” has already been released, titled “Sporsher Onubhuti”; while the teaser of the second song “Obimrishyito” has also been released on the Facebook page of GP Music.

Muntasir Hossain, head of Digital Services of Grameenphone, expressed excitement at the event: “We are very proud to bring Artcell back after 10 years with their upcoming album. We had a sneak preview of some of the songs from the new album and I can confidently say that it will be an instant fan favorite.”

Along with the announcement, Artcell put out a call to all their fans - the ‘Artcell Army’ to unite for the grand occasion and to celebrate their philosophy – ‘Artcellism’. The band also launched a Website, – where all the updates about their upcoming album will be regularly posted.

Artcell released its first studio album Onno Shomoy in 2002. It was both critically and commercially successful. After the success of Onno Shomoy, Artcell spent four years carrying out experiments with their music without releasing an album. Their second studio album Aniket Prantor came in April 2006.
