NEXT ON PC GAMERS' WISHLIST: “RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER”

Lara Croft is making a comeback this year with “Rise of the Tomb Raider”. The action packed adventures will be available on PC from January 28, 2016. Publisher Square-Enix earlier insinuated the games to be available from early 2016. The game’s official page Steam also corroborates this information.

“Rise of the Tomb Raider” is a third-person action game for all the action/adventure loving gamers. Nevertheless, the features are still similar to the original game-play version of its prequel “Tomb Raider” from 2013.

The announcement about this new game was made at one of Microsoft’s Gamescom briefing back in 2014 as a part of 2015 holiday special announcements for the Xbox One. Amidst all the confusion, many had doubts as to the game being actually released. Phil Spencer, Head of Microsoft, clarified on that note saying that  the game would eventually be released at its due date upon its completion also adding that the game would be available on multiple platforms other than Microsoft.

Many game reviews have deemed this new version of Tomb Rider as the game of the year, one of them being ShackNews.

After Square-Enix revealed the PC launch window, they also stated that the game would soon come to Sony’s PlayStation 4 console during the later holiday season in 2016. The gaming companies have made sure to time the launches in the holiday season, to make sure kids burn a hole in their parent’s pockets.
